Scharf Group (SG) has developed a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) explaining how SG will respond to events that may significantly disrupt SG's commitment to efficiently and effectively servicing our customer's needs.
The purpose of this document is to provide you with a summary of the actions SG will undertake to respond to a significant business disruption at our branch office.
If a significant business disruption occurs, SG will implement various strategies to quickly recover and resume business operations. SG's BCP addresses many items, including: data backup and recovery; safeguarding customer's confidential information; financial and operational assessments; alternative communications with customer's and employees; alternate physical location of employees; and ensuring SG's customers' prompt access to their funds.
Significant business disruptions can vary in their scope, such as effecting only SG's branch office that is located in a single building, the entire town where our office is located, or a larger area. Depending on the type of disruption, we will transfer our operations offsite, and recover and resume business as soon as possible.
